‘Luxury Carpets by Aydah Merza’
Luxury Carpets by Aydah Merza presents carpets found across the globe by the artist from Iran, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Lebanon, Germany, the United Kingdom and the USA, where Merza collected exquisite carpets from various dealers, bazaars, exhibitions and auctions. In Iran she acquired carpets from the Shah Sawa Pour of Tabriz; Sayrafian, Hageegia and Dardashi of Isfahan; Foroza and Turcoman of Kilim; Sadeeq Zada of Qum and antique carpets from Kashan and Malayer. From Turkey, she acquired her collection from Hereke and Caesar Carpets. The exhibition marks the second collaboration between Gallery Tilal and Aydah Merza.
