'Paper Fashion'
Presented by the Mubadala Development Company (Mubadala) in support of the Abu Dhabi Festival 2011, Paper Fashion is a lecture featuring acclaimed Belgian artist Isabelle de Borchgrave, a specialist in the craft of creating traditional dresses in paper form. Paper Fashion aims to raise awareness of this art form and present it to people from across the UAE. De Borchgrave has been producing paper works as well as paintings for the past 40 years. Her works have been featured in numerous exhibitions in venues across the world including the Palazzo Medici Roccardi in Florence, the Shizuoka Art Gallery in Shizuoka and the High Museum in Atlanta, to name a few.
